Job Description:
  • Provide tailored support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Offer transportation assistance to clients
  • Provide respite care to clients and their families
  • Keep accurate records of clients' care plans and progress
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team
  • Foster a safe and healthy environment for clients by following health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with clients and their families to review and adjust NDIS plans as needed
  • Deliver training and education to clients and their families on how to navigate the NDIS system
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest developments and best practices in the NDIS field
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • At least 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of the NDIS and its guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and NDIS portals
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work with diverse clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements
  • Basic care and first aid skills
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
