About the Role:
- We are seeking a temporary professional to support our laboratory team in Histopathology. The successful applicant will perform routine procedures, participate in quality assurance and contribute to education.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in a diagnostic laboratory, including immunohistochemistry and cytology preparation.
- They must be able to work with body parts and perform mortuary duties.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy and staining
- Participate in quality assurance procedures and contribute to education
- Work as part of a team and perform tasks independently
Requirements:
- Experience in a diagnostic Histopathology Laboratory
- Ability to work with body parts and perform mortuary duties
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with pathology laboratory information systems
