High-Profile Infrastructure Project Manager

The role of Senior Project Engineer at Symal Contractors involves leading and delivering complex civil packages, primarily for Tier 1 & 2 building clients across Melbourne.
To be successful in this position, you will require significant experience with self-performing civil infrastructure projects, preferably in a similar business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
- Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete.
- Leading and supporting a strong safety culture.
- Managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
- Demonstrating financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or project management.
- A proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with successful outcomes.
- Effective communication with clients, consultants, management, and on-site personnel.
- Understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
- Ability to travel regionally when needed.
- Minimum of 6+ years' experience.
