**Event Manager**

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Manager to join our team. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events and conferences across our unique Gold Coast properties.

About the role:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to plan and deliver events that exceed client expectations. This includes creating event orders based on client requirements, providing quotations, and conducting follow-ups to secure sales.

Duties:

  • Coordinate all aspects of events and create event orders based on client requirements
  • Provide written and verbal quotations for weddings; prepare contracts and conduct timely follow-ups to secure sales
  • Attend wedding expos and other trade shows as required
  • Complete meet and greets and conduct client famils and site inspections as required
  • Reconcile post-event accounts to match quoted charges and any changes made during the event

Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong coordination, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • High-level skills with Excel, Word, and Outlook, and general computer literacy
  • Experience in a similar role in a venue or hotel is preferable
  • Commitment to achieving performance targets and acceptance of accountability
