The Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level care to a female participant in her 60's who has sustained a spinal cord injury, resulting in limited mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care, including showering, dressing, and hygiene
- Catheter management and manual handling/transfers
- Assistance with bowel therapy, including administering enema and digital stimulation
- Prompting medication and assistance with domestic tasks, including cleaning and meal preparation
- Assistance with health and rehabilitation exercises
- Community access and rehabilitation appointments
Requirements
- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
What We Offer
As a Disability Support Worker with Frontline Human Resources, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of our participant. We offer competitive pay rates, including $40 per hour for day shifts and $56 per hour for Saturday shifts.
