Job Overview

Cyber Security plays a vital role at Nine Entertainment, focusing on safeguarding data, systems, and suppliers from cyber threats.

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be part of the security operations team, working to detect, hunt, and respond to cyber security threats. This role involves detection engineering, incident response, and collaboration with various business units.

Opportunities exist for involvement in cyber transformational work, training, and upskilling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance on vulnerability and patch management
  • Conduct attack surface mapping, critical vulnerability triage, and impact analysis
  • Curate, enrich, and correlate indicators, creating actionable intelligence and managing their lifecycle
  • Develop observables to improve detection, investigate alerts, advisories, and incidents, and conduct data and attack-based threat hunting
  • Mentor and guide others in Security Operations tooling management, configuration, and operations
Requirements

This role is suitable for a blue teamer with an understanding and interest in red team techniques, someone with an analytical mindset who wants to be actively involved in threat hunting, threat intelligence management, and investigations using automation, data analysis, and curiosity.

  • Several years of experience in SOC or as a cyber security analyst
  • Deep analytical and lateral thinking skills with the ability to make business decisions through robust data use
  • SIEM platform management and use case development, scripting, automation, and basic networking knowledge
  • Web application vulnerability assessment experience
