Academic Leader in Architecture and Sustainable Construction

Teaching and Learning Expertise:
UNSW Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic to join our team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Architecture and Sustainable Construction within the School of Built Environment. As a key member of our Faculty, you will be responsible for leading the design, delivery, and review of architectural construction and structures courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a well-defined teaching philosophy that inspires student learning in architecture, construction, and structures courses.
- Teach and assess student learning achievements in postgraduate and undergraduate courses, providing support to students as needed.
- Design and develop innovative learning activities, resources, and assessments, using a range of approaches and learning environments.
- Lead the development of innovative approaches to architecture and construction teaching and learning, sharing best practices with colleagues across the School.
- Support student progression, ensuring high levels of student satisfaction and employability outcomes aligned with industry needs.
- Manage course administration, including academic quality assurance, as Course Authority.
Additional Responsibilities (Level C):
- Maintain professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge, and minimum professional accreditation requirements.
- Contribute to the review, development, and design of curriculum, managing curriculum administration, including academic quality assurance.
- Collaborate with peers across the School, Faculty, and UNSW, contributing to teaching and learning dialogues.
