**Senior Dairy Cattle Stockperson Job Overview**

  • Plan and coordinate milk production operations to optimize milk yield and quality.
  • Implement reproductive management programs, including artificial insemination and herd fertility initiatives.
  • Support controlled breeding experiments to develop improved livestock strains.
  • Develop and implement calving procedures to minimize the incidence of stillbirths or injuries to cows or calves.
  • Manage pastures and crops for livestock production and create customized feeding plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong agricultural background and dairy production expertise, with experience in supervising staff and maintaining high standards of animal welfare and food safety. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
