Customer Support Specialist

Metricon Homes is seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to proactively manage customer expectations by providing regular updates on their home's status during construction.

This role involves collaborating with experienced Site Managers to facilitate smooth customer settlements with minimal touch points, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the Clickhome Database.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer expectations through regular updates on their home's status during construction.
  • Communicate effectively with Metricon clients and site personnel to ensure feedback and resolution.
  • Maintain customer files with relevant contracts, variations, and documentation.
  • Create workflows and complete tasks as they arise.
  • Provide all relevant documentation to the nominated Building Inspector.
  • Confirm inspection completion with the Site Manager to achieve occupancy permits.
  • Coordinate gas line/meter installation with authorities using CPT reports.
  • Coordinate electricity disconnection with service providers upon settlement.
  • Ensure database accuracy and up-to-dateness of client details.
  • Complete and manage data entry and report compilation.
  • Maintain and develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services, and processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a customer-focused role with conflict and problem management skills.
  • Ability to read plans; knowledge of contracts or experience in home building is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work in a customer contact role within a time-critical environment.
  • Highly organized with multi-tasking and activity handling capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional and positive attitude in goal-oriented environments.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with database systems is a plus.
