About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in the successful and efficient running of our Hornsby store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager to operate an effective and profitable store
  • Assist the Store Manager to develop and foster a customer-focused culture through the execution of sales, service, and compliance initiatives
  • Inspire and lead a diverse team of passionate individuals to reach set KPIs and sales targets
  • Support the Store Manager to train, mentor, and coach Team Members to work towards goals and succession planning
  • Create a memorable shopping experience for each and every customer

Requirements:

  • Established experience in a customer-focused role as either a supervisor or assistant manager preferably in a retail environment
  • Exceptional people and communication skills and the ability to motivate and rally a team to build sales while supporting a culture of openness, courage, and joyfulness
  • A proven ability to lead, motivate, and build sales and service through exceptional people management
  • Demonstrated experience working to targets and KPIs and fostering a high-performance culture and a genuine passion for our products and what we stand for as a business
