Job Title: Food Services Assistant

As a vital member of our catering team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional food service to residents. This casual position is available at Mercy Place Colac & Warrnambool.

This opportunity allows you to join a team that prioritises customer-focused service whilst producing nutritious meals as an important part of home life for residents and their families.

You will work closely with the Catering Manager to assist with meal delivery, preparation, and heating according to individual resident’s dietary requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy dining area and kitchen environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent teamwork and prioritisation skills during peak periods. It is desirable but not essential to have a Food Safety Handler certificate - Level 1. Previous experience in large-scale catering and Aged Care is highly preferable but not essential.
