Job Overview

As a Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with a team to provide support across financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. This role involves working closely with the Finance Manager to meet periodic reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop weekly cash flow forecasts and identify areas for improvement based on current forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinate site-specific month-end accounting functions within defined timeframes.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packs for the business.
  • Assist in the collection, analysis and presentation of market data to support product decisions as required.
  • Run analyses of key cost drivers to identify performance improvement opportunities and initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or Accounting is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn are highly valued.
  • Experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills are also an advantage.
