About the PositionAs an Analyst, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the maximisation of risk-adjusted returns across equity, preferred equity, and structured subordinated credit investments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investment Execution & Project Management
- Support senior deal team members with transaction analysis, due diligence, structuring and execution of equity and structured subordinated credit investments.
- Coordinate transaction administration, including managing investment conditions, drawdown processes, capital calls, and funding requirements.
- Build and review transaction and investment models to inform decision-making.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare risk assessments, investment committee papers, and term sheets, including conducting independent market analysis.
- Assist with presenting transaction updates and proposals to internal stakeholders and committees.
- Deliver timely and high-standard fund, investor, and transaction reporting.
- Ongoing Investment Oversight
- Implement, review and update investment business plans for equity investments.
- Conduct regular compliance, cashflow, and performance reviews.
- Participate in project meetings to maintain detailed project insight.
- Market Research & Business Support
- Research market investment themes and investment opportunities.
- Assist with investor relations, capital raising, and broader business strategy initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, construction, real estate, or legal disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in finance, legal, or professional consulting. Strong financial modelling and Excel-based cashflow analysis skills are essential, as is proven research capability to source, analyse, and synthesise market data to support investment decisions.
