About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a Support Worker to join our team in the community. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and assisting in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with personal cares, assistance with mobility and prompting with medication.
  • Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
  • Promote customer choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the customer.

We have clients living at home in various locations, and we will roster employees based on geographic location to minimise travel.

You Will Bring

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (essential).
  • A current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle.
  • The ability to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
  • Proficiency in use of technology such as smartphones, email and internet.
