Join Our Leisure Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Venue Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences at our leisure facility. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute plans through engagement with the leadership team, key stakeholders, and local council.
  • Lead and drive a high-performance community-minded culture through visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
  • Achieve budgeted performance targets and maintain a high-value relationship with local Council.
  • Implement a high-value customer service proposition that addresses the needs of the client base.
  • Recruit energetic, diverse, and passionate employees as required to complement the team and vision for the Centre.

About You:

  • As an up-and-coming leader, you will have a proven track record of successfully shaping high-performance teams into business actions.
  • You will be able to articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing or leading in a similar leisure or aquatic facility.
  • Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Current CPR Certificate (or ability to successfully complete) and Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) (or ability to successfully complete).
  • National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People check.
