About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Norths Collective. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food to our diners and working in a fast-paced and team-orientated work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes according to your station, following food hygiene and WHS measures.
  • Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes for restaurant and function trade under the direction of the Head Chef.
  • Maintain proper portion control, stock rotation, and quality control to keep food costs in line.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and required levels of presentation and storage.
  • Drive increased customer satisfaction levels in catering.
  • Work with management to resolve issues and challenges raised by members, guests, or team members.
  • Be available to work a seven-day week to meet business demands.
  • Maintain food safety and comply with hygienic work practices and WH&S guidelines.
  • Contribute to a strong team by maintaining a harmonious and mutually beneficial working relationship with staff, management, and customers.
  • Understand and implement relevant WH&S legislation and guidelines.

Requirements

  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field, or at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food safety and WHS guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of $75,000 - $95,000 per annum.
  • Immediate starts available.
