The Role

We seek an experienced Water Infrastructure Project Manager based in our Wollongong office. The successful candidate will lead multiple water supply and sewerage schemes with key water authorities in New South Wales, Australia.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Plan, program, and coordinate specific projects with the project manager to deliver agreed outputs on budget, on time, and to quality standards

* Manage civil engineering, design management, and project management from planning to construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure as lead or member of a larger team

* Perform broad, varied, and diverse water and wastewater infrastructure engineering design tasks, including engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory agencies

* Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats

* Prepare documentation for site plans, utility profiles, grading plans, cross sections, diagrams, submittal reviews, and response to information requests

* Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments

* Ensure all technical outputs conform to the project scope, are safe, and of appropriate quality

The Ideal Candidate

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent

* Chartership/ RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded

* Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry

* Minimum 4 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plants

* Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks
