About the Role:
This position is located in a 12+ bed unit at Sandringham Hospital, providing comprehensive medical care to older adults with acute needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide patient-centered care with a focus on geriatric syndromes and acute medical conditions.
- To work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in nursing.
- Experience working with older adults and individuals with complex medical needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
