We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Early Start Australia in Oakleigh.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based assessment and therapy services to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities, working collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to deliver quality outcomes.

This is a permanent part-time or full-time opportunity with flexible working hours, offering a great work-life balance. You will also have access to additional professional leave days, a professional development budget, regular training, and a wealth of knowledge from our experienced Occupational Therapists.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities through evidence-based assessment and therapy services
  • Assess and intervene with a mixed caseload, utilizing one-on-one or small group interventions
  • Work with children in various settings, including clinics, homes, schools, and via telehealth
  • Liaise with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver quality outcomes

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, with AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment
  • Effective time management, listening skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience working with children and/or disability, with relevant checks and training
