We are currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Early Start Australia in Oakleigh.

About the Opportunity:

  • As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to a paediatric caseload, delivering direct support to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
  • You will conduct day-to-day assessments and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload, implementing interventions that are one-on-one or small group, focusing on evidence-based practice.
  • Services will be provided in our well-equipped clinic space, participant homes, schools, and via telehealth, requiring you to administer assessments, provide direct and indirect intervention, liaise with families, teachers, professionals, and support staff.
  • You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver quality, purpose-driven outcomes that are tailored and meaningful to each of our participants.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, with AHPRA registration (or eligibility for) is required, with graduates welcome to apply.
  • You must have a fun, engaging approach with a passion for making a difference.
  • Excellent communication skills enable you to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Effective time management, listening skills, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Experience in working with children and/or disability is preferred.
  • You will require Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, and First Aid Training.
