The Department of Health requires a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to provide high-level analysis, forecasting, and modelling advice on the hospital workforce.
This role is key in supporting Finance and Procurement Branch in delivering critical projects and services.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders on complex funding models, providing analysis to enable decision makers to understand financial risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing timely and accurate completion of annual hospital payroll reporting
- Utilising reported Hospital FTE and expenditure data to produce wage bases
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to produce diverse range of analysis
- Contributing to finance policy, risks, trends and solutions
- Maintaining databases and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
This role is essential in supporting the Department's ability to deliver effective support and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a valid work permit/visa
