The Aquarium of Western Australia is located in Hillarys Boat Harbour.

We are seeking an experienced, versatile, and enthusiastic Receptionist/Bookings Officer for our busy reception area and bookings office.

Job Description

A well-established tourist attraction is looking for a professional and approachable person to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-of-house experience and manage the reception desk with professionalism and poise.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders through excellent communication skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve business objectives and promote a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Front-of-house experience or equivalent customer-facing skills.
  • Professional personal presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and develop strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Superior computer skills, preferably with point-of-sale and booking systems.
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience.
  • Current WA Police Clearance and WA Driving Licence.
