Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Platform Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data platforms that meet the needs of our clients.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role with senior or lead level opportunities. You'll lead teams, set technical direction, advise clients, and solve tough engineering challenges.

Our ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills, solid data fundamentals, and experience with modern tools. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and collaborative approach.

  • Experience with modern data engineering approaches, including storage, data pipelines, and querying & reporting.
  • Proficiency in technologies like Python, Spark, SQL, Pyspark, PowerBI.
  • Background in software engineering, including Front End technologies like JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design well-structured systems.
  • Effective communication and collaborative approach.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with cloud services within AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Experience working with common vendor products like Snowflake or Data Bricks.
  • CI/CD tooling expertise.
