Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Infrastructure team in Perth, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the risk management function to ensure effective project delivery to the highest industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, analyze, report, and mitigate risks to the project.
  • Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to support informed decision-making within the project.
  • Project Contingency Planning: Develop and maintain project contingency plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure timely delivery.
  • Risk Reporting: Provide regular risk reports to stakeholders, including project managers, sponsors, and other relevant parties.
  • Risk Register Management: Maintain and update the risk register to ensure accurate tracking of project risks.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expert advice to project management teams on risk management best practices.
  • Project Governance: Coordinate and review project status reporting and assist with arrangements for key governance meetings.

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Experience: Possess 8+ years of experience working in complex, large-scale multidisciplinary projects in the infrastructure industry.
  • Risk Management Systems: Have experience using risk databases and risk management systems, including systems/software to support quantitative risk analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
