About the position:
- The theatre coordinator is accountable for delivering high-quality patient care within a patient-centered environment.
The Clinical Nurse – Theatre Coordinator will:
- Take responsibility to ensure all aspects of patient care meet the highest standards.
- Lead and support team members, reporting directly to the clinical manager.
- Collaborate with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and lead peri-operative nursing care, achieving goals and positive health outcomes.
Key requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Peri-operative Nursing (not essential)
- Recent experience in Peri-operative Nursing
- AHPRA Registration
- Ability to work independently, proficiently, and in an organized manner during periods of high demand and activity, providing clinical leadership
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
- A commitment to joining a mission-driven organization
