About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Operations Specialist to join our Global Networks & Technology Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our cloud platforms, systems, and solutions deliver a superior connected experience for our consumer and business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of DevSecOps pipelines, IT systems, and solutions.
  • Support the delivered systems using ITSM processes in the development, pre-production, and production environments, ensuring systems achieve availability and performance service level objectives.
  • Oversee the optimisation of deployment from concept and test into production.
  • Manage and validate system lifecycle plans, identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with technology partners and stakeholders to understand customer needs and influence approaches.
  • Analyse data and stakeholder inputs to inform key decision making.
  • Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, cost modelling, and options analysis to assess complex issues.
  • Assess vendor solutions and manage vendor performance.
  • Maintain high-level capability in domain technologies, including new and emerging tools and systems.
  • Encourage and support innovation, simplification, and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • Minimum AGSVA NV2 Security Clearance.
  • Experience and expertise in DevSecOps pipeline technologies.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, Platform architecture, DevOps, Systems Engineering, Automation, CaaS, PaaS, Cloud Security, Site Reliability Engineering, and more.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCS.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, technical problem-solving, and continuous system improvement.
