Job Opportunity

This is a full-time permanent position available for an experienced Occupational Therapist within the Logan region.

About the Role:

  • Apply high standards of clinical and professional knowledge when performing complex tasks specific to occupational therapy.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including those with complex presentations, and develop collaborative treatment plans.
  • Organise caseloads effectively and efficiently, prioritising clinical needs and managing time.
  • Provide advice, teaching, and instruction to relatives, carers, and professionals to promote understanding of occupational therapy aims.
  • Lead professional knowledge and skill development, positively impacting service delivery by incorporating new trends and developments into practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA or relevant registration body.
  • Minimum five years' professional experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy (desirable).
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the service region.
