Clinical Lead - Community & Outpatient Social Work

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide high-level clinical leadership and specialist advice on social work services for community-based and outpatient clients with complex needs.

They will lead the development of best practice standards for community-based and outpatient social work services in accordance with Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards and Code of Ethics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical leadership to a team of social workers
  2. Develop and implement best practice standards for community-based and outpatient social work services
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a practicing social worker with substantial knowledge of social work theory and practice
  • Ability to independently apply professional judgment in resolving complex client issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of emergency, critical incident, and social recovery responses required by social work
