**About this role:** The position of Sports Operations Assistant is available to provide efficient financial management and administrative support to the Regional School Sport Officer. This involves responding to enquiries during absences and reporting directly to the Regional School Sport Officer.

- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural requirements.

- Utilize administrative and financial management systems, including accounts receivable and payable, receiving and banking monies, processing payments, providing reports, using corporate card accounts, reconciling accounts and preparing BAS/taxation statements.

- Balance and rollover end-of-period/year accounts, including BAS/taxation requirements.

- Offer administrative support to the Regional School Sport Officer, Board and officials, maintaining office systems and procedures.

- Liaise with school community partners for sport activities.

- Provide expert advice to clients and prepare correspondence, documents and reports.

- Maintain inventory stock control systems, providing guidance on purchasing stocks and managing distribution of apparel.

**Mandatory Requirements:**

- Current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by relevant authorities is required.
