Project Manager Job

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is seeking a Project Manager to join the Digital strategic program, to support with future growth and optimisation.

This role will manage IT infrastructure and business application projects to support our clinical and remote work environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the key point of liaison between the project team, business management, and stakeholders
  • Use project management tools to plan, monitor, and report to the stakeholders on the progress of the project
  • Plan and oversee a project from the initial ideation stage through to the completion
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of the project
  • Provide effective leadership to the project team and manage the scheduling of tasks and performance of resources seconded into the project
Requirements:
  • Formal qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field
  • 3-5 years experience in leading mid-size projects
  • Clinical systems related project experience (desirable)
  • Experience with Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum), Risk Management, Change Management and Financial Management
  • Specialise working with Smartsheet, Jira and Microsoft project
