Job Title: Freight Logistics Specialist

This is a full-time role for an experienced freight driver to join our delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting glass products to customers and job sites, loading and unloading materials with care, inspecting and maintaining the vehicle, following traffic laws and safety policies, and communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport glass products to customers and job sites.
  • Load and unload glass materials with care to prevent damage.
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.
  • Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
About You:
  • Valid MR or HR (manual) license with a clean driving history.
  • Proven freight driving experience, ideally within the glass or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience handling and securing fragile loads is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the metropolitan area.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol test).
