Business Development Manager

About the Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's customer base in the HVAC industry. This involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers and industry stakeholders, and providing solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and service offerings.
- Collaborate with local operations teams to qualify leads and develop opportunities.
- Build professional relationships with new and existing customers and key industry stakeholders.
- Provide end customers with solution sales, including SR packages and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with regional service teams and other departments to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across all verticals.
- Assist in developing marketing plans for new and existing products.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective customers for growth objectives.
- Support strategic plans to achieve new business targets as directed.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses of new business development, opportunities, and targets.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of HVAC industry experience, a strong track record of success in aftermarket parts/repair sales, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. They will also be able to cross-sell and upsell within their base of customers, demonstrate excellent sales and negotiation skills, and be proficient in utilising Microsoft-based computer software in a technical environment.
