About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Norwest Recruitment. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing project estimates, budgets, and working closely with the Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing project estimates and budgets
  • Leveraging industry knowledge and experience to pursue upcoming projects and tenders
  • Keeping pricing databases up to date with pricing for materials
  • Working with the Leadership team on business strategy and contributing market knowledge
  • Proactively communicating with colleagues and keeping them informed on deadlines and quotes

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in Civil Engineering projects involving Water/Sewer/Pumpstations
  • Relevant Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying qualifications and strong technical skills
  • Excellent communication and prioritizing skills
  • Strong relationships within the industry
  • A friendly attitude and a desire to work with a good team
