We're seeking a talented Product Manager to lead our Pre-Payroll product team and drive the development and launch of our leave management and expenses products within the Employment Hero platform.

This role will be pivotal in shaping the product strategy, vision, and delivery roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional value is delivered to our users. As a Product Manager, you'll be an integral part of our Product team, consisting of Designers, Engineers, and Data experts.

We're looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully launching products, experience working with software development teams using agile methodologies, and a passion for problem-solving and user-centric design. If you're a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, a strong ability to drive cross-functional alignment, and a hunger for innovation, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management & Delivery: Responsible for the delivery of the product vision and its success, driving product discovery for features and initiatives on the roadmap, translating the product vision and roadmap through to delivery, operation, and continuous improvement.
  • Backlog Management: Apply a strategic mindset to user story prioritization and delivery, continually maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories, balance business goals, stakeholder expectations, and customer desirability with what can feasibly be delivered.
  • Collaboration and Team Management: Collaborate with designers and product leadership team to plan, undertake, and input results of testing and performance measurement into future release and roadmap planning, collaborate with Developers to ensure the product vision and designed solutions are feasible and viable.
  • Communication: Concisely explain ideas, issues, or project status to key stakeholders and the wider organization at an appropriate level of business or technical detail, ensure product requirements are gathered accurately and are communicated transparently to the product squad.
