Job Overview

The role of the Strategy Manager is to support the expansion of arts and cultural events, develop new tourism programs, broker productive partnerships, and build the capacity of artists and arts and cultural organisations across Queensland.

About the Position

This fixed-term temporary full-time position will work within our Strategy and Programs team for 12 months with possible extension. As a Strategy Manager, you will contribute to the development of strategies that drive growth and innovation in the arts and cultural sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of strategies that promote arts and cultural tourism in Queensland
  • Broker productive partnerships between arts and cultural organisations, government agencies, and private sector partners
  • Build the capacity of artists and arts and cultural organisations through training and development programs
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines that support the growth of arts and cultural tourism in Queensland

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong knowledge of the arts and cultural sector in Queensland
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective strategies and projects
  • Experience working in a similar role or industry
