Theatre Orderly Job Description

We are seeking experienced Theatre Orderlies to join our team. As an orderly, you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive attitude, and achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in this fast-paced and varied environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient assistance and transfers, including the use of lifting machines and bed movers.
  • General housekeeping duties such as cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking equipment, and waste management.
  • Removing dirty linen and ensuring clean linen is available.
  • Operating in line with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients.
  • Creating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients.
  • Supporting all work tasks as an active team member.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Autority to work in Australia.
  • Prior experience as a theatre orderly or in a hospital environment.
  • Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement.
  • Working with Children check.
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
