Senior Infrastructure Engineer



About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and building the underlying technology stack that powers our platform.

You will work closely with our software engineering teams to build and maintain complex infrastructure, apply software engineering and SRE principles, and leverage infrastructure automation tools to build, maintain, monitor, and operate scalable web architectures.

In this role, you will also assist in defining project scope, drive issues to completion, marshal resources in high-pressure situations, and work closely with your peers to expand your knowledge and understanding of our technologies.

You will participate in our on-call rotation and provide support to our engineering and customer support teams by diagnosing and problem-solving issues on our platform.



Requirements:
  • A trusted engineer with 6+ years of experience in building software for, operating, and supporting large Linux-based web application environments.
  • An excellent communicator who works well with geographically distributed teams.
  • You're obsessive compulsive in a good way, with systems and scripts that are clean, well-documented, and comprehensible.
  • You have a passion for learning, are curious when it comes to working with new technologies or languages, and are not afraid to ask questions.
