Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team at ClearCompany. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our company's compliance framework aligns with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Compliance Framework Management: Assist in ensuring our compliance framework is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  2. Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the Compliance Monitoring Program, providing assurance that controls and processes are in place and operating effectively.
  3. Regulatory Reporting: Review reports from the Compliance Operations team, ensuring transaction monitoring alerts are reviewed in a timely manner and regulatory reports are submitted within the required timeframe.
  4. Regulatory Examinations: Provide support with organizing and executing on regulatory examinations and independent reviews.
  5. Policy Development: Assist in reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and compliance training, coordinating with the Compliance Operations team on implementation.
  6. Regulatory Support: Provide support on other regulatory and compliance matters as indicated by the Head of Compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  2. A solid understanding of relevant regulatory guides, portals, and reporting requirements.
  3. A detailed knowledge of legal, regulatory compliance, and operational risk issues.
  4. Strong project management and time management skills to produce work in accordance with professional standards.
  5. Ability to assess complex activities to identify potential compliance and/or operational risks.
  6. Familiarity with the product development lifecycle and regulatory guidance.
  7. Experience handling internal and external dispute resolution processes.
  8. Strong technical aptitude and ability to discuss detailed technical requirements with IT and product development teams.
  9. Proven ability to build relationships and communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels.
