About This Role:

The Cellar Door Manager is a dynamic leadership position in one of the best wine establishments in the Hunter Valley. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Pizzeria, delivering exceptional wine tasting experiences, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team to deliver exceptional customer experience and memorable wine tasting experiences
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive cellar door sales growth
  • Manage the daily operations of the Pizzeria, including staff supervision, inventory control, and menu planning
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, quality, and safety

Requirements:

  • Wine industry experience or knowledge and passion for wine
  • Sales and service driven, with ability to meet set targets
  • Excellent communication skills and desire to provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to deliver memorable tasting experiences and drive cellar door sales
  • Effective team player with professional and personable nature
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Availability to work weekends and some nights
  • RSA and own transport essential
