Senior Contract Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contract Administrator to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the contractual and financial aspects of luxury multi-residential projects.

  • You will play a vital part in ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget, while upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, variations, and correspondence.
  • Lead the procurement process, overseeing contract letting and supplier engagement from start to finish.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms and outcomes.
  • Assess and process subcontractor progress claims and payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor project expenses and conduct regular cost reporting and forecasting to ensure budgets are maintained.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project operations.
  • Track and manage project costs, identifying and addressing any variances as they arise.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A minimum 5+ years' experience in contract administration within the construction industry, ideally in luxury or high-end residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
