Job Title: Independent Living Coordinator

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to coordinate high-quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) services across multiple houses in the Alice Springs region.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight across multiple SIL houses, build strong relationships with participants, families, guardians, and support networks, and ensure services align with NDIS plans and individual goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight across multiple SIL houses.
  • Build strong relationships with participants, families, guardians, and support networks.
  • Support participant onboarding and transitions in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Oversee rosters and service delivery to ensure alignment with participant goals and NDIS funding.
  • Lead and support a team of Team Leaders and Disability Support Workers, including supervision, performance development, and training.
  • Monitor service quality, respond to feedback and incidents, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, incident reporting, and internal policies.
Requirements
  • Experience leading disability or community services and managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in rostering, planning, and budget monitoring.
  • Commitment to modelling and embedding active support practices to promote participant independence and engagement.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive service improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.

  • National Criminal History Check.
  • NT Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Full Australian working rights.
