Clinical Advisor Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in reviewing injured workers' medication profiles and ensuring all medications align with Worksafe policies and guidelines.

This is a full-time opportunity based in the Melbourne CBD office with flexibility to work from home up to three days a week.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Monitor pharmacy treatment requests and invoices to ensure timely payments and reimbursements.
  • Support the implementation of treatment and rehabilitation plans from a pharmaceutical perspective.
  • Liaise with treating health practitioners to ensure best practice medicine is being adhered to.
  • Advise Claims team members on appropriate pharmacy treatment services.
  • Foster a strong working partnership with regulatory bodies.
About You:
  • You must hold a tertiary degree in Pharmacy, including a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy.
  • You have a solid understanding of Victorian legislation relevant to medical and treatment intervention.
  • Experience in injury management and strategic claims management within a claims agent or insurance company setting is highly desirable.
  • You possess excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
