About the Role

This role involves managing the road design component of projects, ensuring timely completion within agreed deadlines.

You will identify and resolve technical road design issues, lead a road design project team, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, resource, and complete assigned delivery of road design components.
  • Manage technical road design issues, communicating with the team to resolve them.
  • Lead a road design project team, coaching and developing their capabilities.
  • Assist in determining resources required for project plans.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards and national guidelines.
Requirements
  • To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A degree or qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads.
  • SIGNIFICANT YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A PROJECT DELIVERY ENVIRONMENT.
  • Demonstrated participation in major road infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design.
