We are seeking highly skilled Justice Advocates to join our team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of justice delivery.
Multiple roles are available, allowing you to apply once for consideration across various levels.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality legal services in criminal law, family violence, and youth crime
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, fostering capability across the team
- Represent clients in complex matters in the Magistrates' Court and Children's Court
- Engage with stakeholders, drive reform initiatives, and contribute to community legal education
- Serve as the Youth Crime Practice Lead across the Sunshine and South-West region
- Support Senior Lawyers and early career lawyers in youth crime matters
- Lead systemic advocacy and practice development to enhance legal outcomes for young people
- Excellent technical skills in criminal law (and ideally, family violence and youth crime)
- Strong advocacy skills, combined with sound judgment, compassion, and cultural awareness
- Collaborative approach, able to lead, coach, and build trust across diverse teams
- Values-driven – motivated by fairness, inclusion, and systemic impact
