Job Description

As a Building Cadet, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction teams on site. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively driving company safety policies and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with trade package tendering processes, including compilation and approval of tender documents.
  • Providing administrative support for trade packages, including progress payments and variations.
  • Compiling and controlling project documents, including maintenance of a control register.

You will be working closely with our experienced construction managers and site supervisors to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree or diploma in Construction, Building, or Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of timeliness, accuracy, and punctuality.
