About the Role

Our organization invites applications for a lecturer position to provide quality educational services, including training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.

Lecturers may also be involved in providing consultancy services to industry/community clients.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A strong background in fabrication and welding with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience and current industry involvement.
  • Trade qualifications to a minimum of Certificate III and a certificate in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or TAE40116.
  • Expertise in advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding, along with comprehensive fabrication skills.
  • Knowledge of current fabrication industry trends, cultural practices, and understanding of the MEM Training Package and its application in vocational education.
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as email, PowerPoint, web-based platforms, spreadsheets, and Office suite to support training delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
