Job Description

The role of a Business Support Officer is to provide high-level support and maintain relationships with stakeholders. This includes providing secretariat services to the organization's strategic board framework, developing agendas in consultation with key business areas, and ensuring that meetings are well-managed and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide administrative support to the organization's strategic board framework, including preparing meeting materials, managing logistics, and taking minutes.
  • Develop agendas for meetings in consultation with key business areas to ensure that the organization's goals and objectives are met.
  • Quality assure papers and reports, attend meetings, prepare minutes, engage with relevant stakeholders, and manage meeting logistics, attendance, decisions, and action items.
  • Conduct training sessions on the use of organizational secretariat materials to improve stakeholder understanding and engagement.
Requirements
  • Hold a Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or be able to obtain one.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in work deliverables.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
