As a key member of our team, the Cancer Care Support Coordinator will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering a comprehensive cancer care program across the NT's Big Rivers region.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement region-wide cancer initiatives and screening strategies to improve access to care for our community.
  • Lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including a Cancer Care Nurse, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Foster strong partnerships with local health organizations, such as Cancer Council NT and BreastScreen, to drive collective impact.
  • Integrate cancer care into KWHB clinics, supporting local referrals and improving patient outcomes.
  • Co-design culturally sensitive resources and engagement events to enhance community participation.
  • Monitor and report outcomes, driving continuous quality improvement and delivering training programs to ensure excellence in care.
