Principal Quality Systems Specialist

Cochlear is the global market leader in implant hearing solutions, dedicated to helping people with moderate to profound hearing loss experience a life full of hearing. The company's mission is to give people the best lifelong hearing experience and access to innovative future technologies.

The Principal Quality Systems Specialist will play a key role in driving the implementation of quality initiatives across the global business. This includes leading the implementation of Quality Management System processes, managing QMS continuous improvement projects, and setting direction for the timely resolution of complex quality issues.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the development of training material and coaching cross-functional departments on problem-solving methodologies

Collaborating with stakeholders to implement and maintain the enterprise Quality Management System and business strategy

Coordinating preparation of input for management review and providing recommendations for escalation to executive management

About You: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality professional who can demonstrate strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, regulatory requirements, and data analysis. Key qualifications include:

Tertiary qualifications (minimum Bachelor's degree) in Engineering, Science or related discipline

Previous experience designing and enacting Quality Management Systems, preferably ISO 13485 and 21 CFR

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across the globe
