
Senior Inventory Manager

In a role of high responsibility, the Senior Inventory Specialist will oversee and optimize inventory levels to ensure seamless business operations. Their key duty is to manage stock counts, audits, and reconciliation while developing best practices for efficient inventory management.
- They are responsible for planning and coordinating weekly stock reconciliations between SAP and 3PL ERP systems.
- The specialist must track current inventory levels and ensure booked stock at distribution centers aligns with purchase orders.
- Monitoring cycle count reports and investigating discrepancies requires attention to detail.
- Regular stock adjustments and inventory movements must be managed carefully to correct SAP category locations.
- The specialist will deliver stock snapshot analyses and discrepancy fixes.
- Supporting Finance during internal and external inventory audits is crucial.
- Reverse Logistics inventory, including returns from stores, wholesale customers, and store-to-store transfers, must be closely monitored.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution operations.
- Expertise in goods flow from DC to customers/consumers and reverse logistics.
- Solid background in Inventory Management and analysis.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate across functions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Post-graduate qualifications in Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in Inventory Control within Supply Chain and Retail Operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP/SAP, and WMS.
- Skilled in communication, presentation, and problem solving.
